Are you a registered breeder with any club or organization?

Yes, we are a registered breeder affiliated with The International Cat Association (TICA). You can locate our cattery within the TICA registry under the British Long Hair breeders listing. TICA is renowned for its commitment to maintaining the highest standards in feline breeding, and we take great pride in adhering to their rigorous guidelines. Our registration with TICA is a testament to our dedication to responsible and ethical breeding practices, ensuring the well-being and health of our beloved cats. If you have any further inquiries or require additional information about our registration or breeding standards, please do not hesitate to contact us; we are always available to assist you.

How long have you been breeding?

This is the first year that we began breeding golden British Longhairs. We have been breeding Ragdolls since 2019 and fell in love with British Long Hairs as well and decided to purchase our first breeding queen from Golden Fluff cattery in San Diego. We have experience with breeding and are really looking forward to the future with British Long Hairs as well.

Where are you located?

We're located in Sarasota, Florida, which is conveniently located near major cities like Orlando, Tampa, and Miami.

Do you allow home visits?

We're sorry, but we don't allow home visits anymore. By giving out our address to strangers, we are putting ourselves at risk. Our top priority is the safety of our family and our cats, especially given the current uncertain circumstances in the world. We appreciate your understanding in these challenging times. If you have any questions or would like to know more about our cattery and our cats, please feel free to reach out, and we'll be happy to assist you in other ways. Thank you for your understanding.

How can I choose a kitten if home visits aren't allowed?

If you're interested in selecting a kitten, we strongly recommend arranging a FaceTime call with us. This way, you can witness firsthand how the kitten interacts with us and its siblings. We're more than willing to provide regular updates once you've chosen a kitten, and we'll continue to send these updates until your new furry family member is safely home with you. We aim to ensure that you have all the information and peace of mind you need during this exciting process.

How do I pick up my kitten if home visits aren't allowed?

We arrange kitten exchanges at a designated public location that ensures safety for all parties involved. Additionally, we are always just a text or phone call away to assist you with any inquiries or needs you may have. If you're flying in to pick up your kitten or using a flight nanny, we are more than happy to meet you at Sarasota/Bradenton Airport. Your convenience and peace of mind are important to us, and we're committed to making the process as smooth as possible.

Are your cats DNA tested?

All of our cats undergo DNA testing through Optimal Selection, which includes screening for HCM, PDK1, MPSVI, and over 50 other genetic defects. We are proud to report that our cats consistently test negative for these genetic issues. Additionally, we maintain a negative status for Feline Leukemia Virus (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). The health and well-being of our feline companions are of utmost importance to us, and we are dedicated to ensuring that our cats are free from these concerns

Why are your kittens so expensive?

It's essential to consider the full scope of what goes into raising a kitten. Our pricing reflects the comprehensive care and dedication we invest in our kittens' well-being. This includes DNA testing, veterinary care, premium-quality food, cat litter, and the spaying and neutering process. We understand that these expenses can add up quickly, but they are essential to ensure the health and happiness of our kittens.
It's crucial to remember that when you invest in a kitten from a reputable breeder like us, you're not just buying a pet; you're investing in a companion who has received the best possible start in life. While it might be tempting to opt for cheaper options offered by backyard breeders, it often leads to unforeseen expenses in the long run. These "breeders" do not conduct genetic testing, provide vet care, provide proper care, or offer essential documentation and health guarantees. The cats that they use for breeding are often overbred and abused, all for the "breeders" own selfish gain without any compassion for the breeding queens. In the long run, purchasing a cheaper kitten from backyard "breeders" results in very expensive medical treatment down the road.
By choosing a reputable breeder, you're making a wise investment in a kitten with a clean bill of health, backed by a genetic health guarantee, and the assurance that we will be here to support you every step of the way. A health guarantee is our commitment to your peace of mind and your kitten's well-being. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for.

What will my kitten come with?

-
Proficient Litter Training: Our kittens are well-trained in using the litter box, making the transition to your home smoother.
-
Appropriate Vaccinations: Kittens receive vaccinations based on their age, ensuring they are protected against common feline diseases.
-
Regular Deworming: We implement a deworming regimen to maintain their health and well-being.
-
Comprehensive Veterinary Examination: Our kittens undergo thorough veterinary checks to ensure they are in the best possible health.
-
Neutering or Spaying: Unless an alternative arrangement is specified, our kittens are spayed or neutered. Proof of alteration is necessary for TICA registration, as per our agreement. The only way a male kitten would leave our cattery unfixed is if a testicle did not drop yet and he would have to wait to be neutered. Females are always spayed, no exceptions!
-
30-Day Pet Insurance Coverage: We provide a 30-day pet insurance coverage from Trupanion Pet Insurance, offering peace of mind during the initial period of adjustment.
-
1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee: Our 1-year Genetic Health Guarantee underscores our confidence in the health and genetic integrity of our kittens.
-
Official TICA Registration: Our kittens come with official registration from The International Cat Association (TICA), ensuring their pedigree is recognized.
-
Up-to-Date Vaccination Records: You will receive a complete record of your kitten's vaccination history, helping you maintain their health going forward.

How do I pay for a kitten and is the deposit refundable?

If you choose to purchase a kitten from our cattery, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required and can be made via Zelle or Venmo. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable, but it will be applied towards the final purchase price of the kitten. Full payment is due when we meet to exchange the kitten, and you can complete this payment either in cash or using the same payment method that was initially used for the deposit. This policy ensures a smooth and straightforward transaction process for both parties.

When will my kitten be ready to go home?

Our kittens are ready to join their new homes at the age of 12 to 14 weeks, once they have fully healed from their spaying or neutering procedures. This timeframe ensures that they receive the essential nurturing and care they need, including their mother's milk during their crucial early weeks. We firmly believe in responsible breeding practices, and we oppose the unethical practice of allowing kittens to go home prematurely, which can be detrimental to their well-being. Our commitment is to the health and happiness of our kittens, and we appreciate your understanding of this important aspect of our care philosophy.

Please be aware for SCAMS!

We urge all potential families, whether considering adoption from us or any breeder, to exercise caution and diligence in their search for a furry companion. Unfortunately, scams are prevalent, with numerous fake online profiles and unscrupulous individuals seeking to take advantage of well-intentioned pet lovers.
To safeguard yourselves, we highly recommend the following precautions:

-
Request a FaceTime Call: Verify the authenticity of the kitten by requesting a FaceTime call with the breeder. This visual interaction can provide confidence and assurance.
-
Research Thoroughly: Never send money without conducting thorough research. Investigate the breeder's credentials, and check if they are registered with a reputable organization.
-
Request References: Don't hesitate to ask the breeder for references from previous adopters. Hearing about their experiences can be invaluable.
-
Get to Know the Breeder: Establish a connection with the breeder before making any commitments. Trust your instincts and only proceed when you feel confident in your choice.
Your safety and protection are paramount. Please exercise due diligence and stay vigilant while searching for your future feline family member. We are committed to ethical breeding practices, and we encourage you to take these precautions to ensure a positive and secure adoption experience.
